Board of Selectmen · Meeting of August 5, 2026

NH GRAFTON — Grafton Selectmen resolve parsonage lot line dispute via compromise. The board conducted a site visit to the parsonage on August 5 to review a proposed subdivision that had created a conflict between Andrew Cushing's planned septic system placement and the Historical Society's intended parking lot on church grounds. Chair Ed Grinley and board members Leif Hogue and Steve Darrow discussed historical deed records before consulting with Bob Senter, who provided guidance on optimal lot line placement.

The board agreed on a compromise: the lot line will run from a stone near a roadside tree back to a 10-inch maple in the woods, then at a right angle to the stone wall. The agreement permits the Historical Society to build a parking lot on the church property.
