NH GRAFTON — Grafton Cemetery Trustees accept Sexton's immediate resignation and launch replacement search. At the June 19 meeting, Trustees Dan Moore, Jean Mitchell, and Ryan Huff unanimously accepted Ed's resignation as the town's appointed Sexton and authorized a $500 severance payment covering half his annual stipend. The board directed Ed to cease all Sexton operations and requested return of town records, keys, and receipts by June 30.

Interim cemetery operations will be managed by Trustee Jean Mitchell. The Trustees will advertise the position on the town website, message board, and social media, with a decision on candidates scheduled for their July 9 meeting.
