Budget Committee · Meeting of June 23, 2026

NH GRAFTON — Grafton Budget Committee elects new officers and flags multiple accounting categorization errors. The Grafton Budget Committee unanimously elected Bonnie Haubrich as Chair and Ryan Huff as Secretary. During year-to-date budget review, members identified categorization errors: a $10,000 police sign-on bonus charged to capital expenditures instead of wages, chainsaws budgeted under Fire Warden rather than Fire Department, and hauling fees miscategorized under sanitation fuel.

The committee discussed a potential $400,000 warrant article for Fire Engine 2 and set the next meeting for September 8, 2026.
