NH GRAFTON — Selectboard approves gazebo for Town Common; advances library lease and parsonage negotiations. Chair Ed Grinley and members Leif Hogue and Steve Darrow unanimously backed the Historical Society's 14-by-18 gazebo project on the Common, with the nonprofit seeking to raise $40,000 to complete construction by 2028. The board also approved renewal of the wildland engine contract unanimously and signed timber tax warrants.

Andrew Cushing presented a proposal to lease the Meeting House's second floor from MVP as temporary space for the Library, pending legal review, with a return to the May 5 meeting. Cushing also opened parsonage purchase negotiations at $25,000, prompting the board to schedule a non-public meeting for April 13 at 4:30 pm before a public hearing. Road Agent Sam Faulkner reported that Slab City bridge is red-tagged and requires priority attention; the board requested a five- to ten-year paving plan.
